Checklist to bring with you to your shift:

  • [ ] Stethoscope

  • [ ] Clean spare scrubs

  • [ ] Lunch/water bottle/snacks

  • [ ] Copy of state-applicable licensure +/- DEA license

  • [ ] Penlight, bandage scissors, etc. if needed

  • [ ] Lab coat w/name tag

  • [ ] Spare pen, permanent marker and highlighter

  • [ ] Reference materials:

    • Google Drive login or jump drive with your own reference sources if desired
    • Plumbs or VIN login information to look up drug dosing
    • any reference textbooks or cheat sheets you use on a regular basis

  • [ ] Computer or tablet or smartphone w/charger

  • [ ] Note-keeping system to record mileage, hours worked +/- overtime

  • [ ] A positive attitude and good sense of humor!
